On another note I’ve attempted to run the ‘diagnostics’ on the device, each time it stops around 95% then disconnects, so I can’t even attempt to reach support via their support button either. The cards were introduced with a read/write speed of 125 MB/s N series and future series cards will be able to go as high as 500 MB/s and beyond. I can’t use a 32GB card with a D850 while shooting a wedding… The two main benefits of the XQD format are its blazing fast read/write speeds (current and proposed for the future) and high capacity storage limit. Is this device actually only limited for 32GB cards as listed in the compatibility chart? If so, this device is useless for me. I said that getting an expensive XQD reader now would not be wise when you will be able to get a CFExpress/XQD reader in the near future.

The CF Express cards will have the same form factor as the XQD ones so it will work just fine in the current XQD readers. It does appear to ingest some of the images, but not all since it stops the transfer pretty early on.

    I haven’t seen any other threads regarding the XQD cards I can confirm that it can at least read the QDA-SB1/J reader with a 128GB card in it.
